Who? Educators, parents, administrators, and those with an interest in learning more about Twice Exceptional learners and programming. What? This five-hour training will provide participants with a more in depth look at the program at Arete Academy. Our teachers will share what has worked, what hasn't, and some general advice for teaching 2e learners. The program will include a school tour, multiple presentations and observations and time for discussion, question and answers. Lunch will be provided. Certificate for CEUs available. When? 10:00am-3pm Wednesday, January 11th, May 10th (2017) Cost? $175/person |
Who? Educators, parents, administrators, and those with an interest in learning more about Twice Exceptional learners and programming. What? This program is the most comprehensive training program offered by Arete Academy. We offer a 1.5 day program which allows participants to see and hear what Twice Exceptional programming means for our students, staff, and families. This program begins on day one with an overview, tour of the school, dinner and a parent panel. The next day, participants will join us for the school day which will include classroom observations, training sessions provided by our teachers and team leader, discussion and opportunities for Q & A. Meals will be provided. Certificate for CEUs available. When? 3-6:30pm Tuesday, 8:30am-3:30pm Wednesday, January 24/25, March 7/8, May 16/17 (2017) Cost? $275/person |
